Review: Civilization 4

Title - Civilization IV
Genre - Turn based strategy
Platform - PC
Rating - A+
Comments - This new Sid Meyer's Civilization game is simply amazing. initially I thought: What can they have done to improve the last game? But they did, it is for sure the best turn based strategy game ever. The graphics are pretty decent, not great because it doesn't need to be but it is surprisingly heavy on a weak PC. I absolutely loved the new features of this game such as the civics system and religions. I loved everything about the gameplay and the diplomacy, which has definately improved. The AI is still fairly predictable but I guess it will take a while to design more complex AIs. This game has the best value in term of how long you can play it, I am starting to think I will play this game more than any game I've ever played. I was fortunate to start exploring the modifications you can make. The developers were nice enough to release everything for users to create their own game based on CIV4. I haven't really touched any python but just changing the XML you can add civs, religions, civics, traits. You can also make new units which can be done easily if you know how to use 3dMax. Online it is not that different from single player, nothing really special aobut it... Anyway, I highly recommend this game to anyone into a strategy game, if you have never played any civ before, it will take a little bit of time to get used but trust me, it's worth it.
